6 months

So O you turned 6 months today. We decided to have a little celebration now that you are half a year old, and took a trip to the Bellagio and walked around the garden and watched 2 water fountain shows. It was hot, maybe a little too hot because you didn't seem to care too much about the water show but you did watch it. You loved the gardens. There were lots of colorful flowers and water would jump and you loved watching it. There was lots too see! You weren't fussy at all while we were there. Great day!

You have grown so much in these 6 months of life. You are a proficient roller, and now sit up really well on your own. You push up on all fours and then on our knees and forehead. You will be crawling before we know it! At this point you can scoot yourself to get things you really want though you whine and squawk the entire time. We can't leave you in your swing anymore since you try and roll out of it now.

You are a happy baby most of the time and pleasure us with your smiles all day long. We love to hear you giggle and laugh, which you are doing more and more. You are getting very good at grabbing things and everything you grab ends up in your mouth.

One of your favorite games is when you sit on mommy and daddy's bed and daddy hides on the ground and crawls around the bed and pops up at you. You look around the room for him and most of the time can tell where he is going to pop up. You love your rice cereal and are warming up to carrots. A variety of foods are coming your way soon and I hope you like them and don't take after your mom in the picky department. You are fascinated when you see "big people" eat real food and you often reach for the plate.

You love anything new and anything outside; your such a curious and adventurous kid. You help your daddy study and play with his computer.

You are a crazy sleeper and change positions tons of times throughout the night, but we want to thank you for sleeping through the night most of the time. However, you do fight sleep like a crazy man unless you are sooooo tired you can't possible keep your eyes open. Some of your favorite toys are: your monkey rattle, cloth duck, empty candy boxes, and your soccer ball. Your soccer ball might be your favorite of all. You get real excited when you see the ball passed around; you kick your legs and wave your arms around. Then we put the ball at your feet and you copy what you've seen and kick it. Everyone loves to watch you "play" soccer. It's the best! We are so grateful you have joined our family! You are such a fun, happy, special boy and we are truly enjoying watching you grow.
